Shichirimihama
Shichirimihama is the longest gravel cost in Japan and is nominated for many of top 100 scenic beauty awards. It is a part of the world heritage "Kumano Kodo" pilgrimage route which is called Hamakaido, and the coast itself had been an object of worship for the people through the ages.
Sunrise on the horizon, breathtaking blue of the ocean and the sky divided by the horizon, sunset colored waves, star-filled sky, etc., the view from the broad coast always comfort our souls. Many of the local festivals such as flying hundreds-carp-streamers in May, the grand fireworks festival in August, Hananoiwaya shrine festival in October and in February, etc. are taken place on this beautiful coast.
